Some exciting research is coming out of Northwestern University in the states around the role of the Calcium Channel in FS. Here is a link to the article – http://www.jneurosci.org/content/33/24/9920.abstract and various press releases – http://neurosciencenews.com/neurology-febrile-seizure-treatment-198/.
Nimodipine, which is widely available already – and in high concentrations in grapefruit, may offer some promise.
So we’re curious to know if anyone has any comments / experiences of either Nimodipine or even Grapefruit to share?
